From November 7, 2018, up to January 14, 2019, the CCBB SP presents an exhibition dedicated to hyper-realism, curated by Teresa de Arruda, the exhibition will show a historical rescue of this movement that originally was born as an affront to the abstractionism. One of the greatest highlights of the show is the young artist Giovani Caramello who will participate with 3 works, one of which is the main piece of the exhibition placed at the very entrance as a big destak.
The exhibition “Two halves and one” emerged from the partnership between OMA Gallery and Baró Gallery and presents unpublished paintings and drawings by the artists Andrey Rossi and Thiago Toes, curated by Thomaz Pacheco, the exhibition presents a pictorial disparity between the artists, reflecting a different reactive time in the research of each. It is an unprecedented partnership between an established gallery as Baró, receiving in its space the very young OMA Gallery that has stood out by the projects that executes and its cluster of represented artists.
